Real Baby Milk Peer support trainer - Dorset

This exciting new role will be an addition to the Real Baby Milk Dorset team.

We are looking for a highly experienced motivated and enthusiastic person to deliver Open College Network Accredited Training for volunteer mums in Dorset. You will need to have a willingness to undertake further training and possess an excellent knowledge of Breastfeeding Peer Support in Dorset. Have excellent organisational skills, self-motivated, and a confident communicator.

Essential qualifications include UNICEF 1 Day Breastfeeding Training or equivalent advanced Breastfeeding Training.

Training courses run for six sessions of 2 hours and require some time setting up and preparing for the sessions and marking students work. This post will require the introduction of the assessment element to Peer Support Training and will enable peer supporters in Dorset to meet the guidelines as set by NICE.

£10 per hour plus travelling expenses.

Total of five courses to be delivered, contract expires March 2013.
